Founder of Fluency Compass

Celina Mathews is the founder of Fluency Compass, a language assessment and data platform built for international schools. Previously an EAL Program Lead at Shekou International School, she brings a practitioner’s perspective to the design of assessment systems that are both rigorous and practical for classrooms.

Her work centers on supporting multilingual learners through data-informed instruction and empowering all teachers to see themselves as language teachers.

We are inviting educators to share practical, classroom-tested ideas that help all teachers support language development across subject areas. If you are integrating language and content in your practice, experimenting with new approaches, or leading work to improve outcomes for multilingual learners, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for practitioners, from EAL specialists to subject-area leaders, to lead 60-minute interactive sessions that provide "Monday-morning ready" strategies for our community.
